“Not Ready” is a fuzz-friendly gem that infectiously finds common ground between indie-rock and power-pop. The bouncy bass line, synth droppings, and contagious vocals combine with a conventionally fun structure and arsenal reminiscent of Smith Westerns, Ozma, Weezer, and other acts who aren’t afraid to let the hook-friendly ’90s and ’00s combine with their modern ideas. From their latest album Anatomic, this is an impressive one from Opus Orange.
