Rudy & The Dunk Reactions is a 31-year-old electronic producer from Seattle with an eclectically impressive resume; he’s been nominated for an mtvU Woody Award, placed music in a Pacifico Beer ad, played Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party, and opened for national acts like Riff Raff and Odd Future with his other group ‘Slow Dance’. His new track, however, pursues a psych-pop vibe that works just as well, with a fitting Game of Thrones theme to boot. With a view that’s apt for those who saw last night’s episode’s rousing conclusion, the track shows an imitation of Daenerys and her dragon traversing across the landscape, courtesy of a drone. It’s a fun video, propelled even more by the track, which blends the producer’s arp-friendly electronic production with “psychedelic vocals, analog synths, and epic strings from video game sound composer Jon Everis.” Explains Rudy: “For the music video, I attached Daenerys on a dragon from Game of Thrones to my drone and flew it around Seattle.” The Mother of Dragons approves.
