The lonesome and dark industrial atmosphere of goste’s “Loadedlikeapistol” sets a great stage for the alt-rock/electro hybrid, resulting in a track that shows off many of the Brooklyn-based experimental artist’s strengths. goste’s real name is Owen Ross, a producer, instrumentalist, and composer who seems to take a cue from artists like Prefuse 73 and Trent Reznor in infusing playful electronic elements within a relatively dark alt-leaning sound. “Loadedlikeapistol” is a highlight off his upcoming 6-song EP, Eugene.
