Miami-based producer Andy Atlanti$ takes the “sound less traveled” approach with this aquatic work, focusing on the steadiness of synths and bass in hopes of maintaining an effectively electro-minimalist sound. The beat begins alongside an appetizing crystallized synth that is quickly followed by a punchy bassline and tinny snare. Keys come afterwards, adding yet another layer to the already-satisfying dish of sonic excellence. The rest of the track plays out in a relaxed manner, allowing the listener tastefully digest this mind-numbing delicacy from the ocean blue. The style reminds me of Unicorn Kid’s “sea-punk” arsenal.
