MP3: The Twees – “Tempermental Health”

Contrary to their name, The Twees produce hook-filled garage-rock with hints of The Strokes and The Charlatans UK. Lead single “Tempermental Health” is heavy on rhythm guitars, the clanging twinkling of keys, and joyous harmonies. The vocal production gives a nod to The Strokes, putting the vocals somewhat behind in the mix but never sacrificing the ardency of the performance. This is an excellent introduction from the NYC-based band.
