Crystal Castles are prepping a new album for release sometime this year, but that doesn’t mean they forgot about their previous works. They released a video today for “Suffocation”, a track off their 2010 self-titled album. One-half of the duo, Ethan Kath, directed the clip in collaboration with Vs. Magazine. Seeing as how the magazine focuses on fashion, beauty, art, and sex, it’s a nice fit. The other half of the duo, Alice Glass, flaunts an idiosyncratic fashion sense over grainy footage and an abandoned mansion, at one moment appearing as if she’s dressed for Gaga’s funeral and at another appearing as a hospital patient. Let’s hope the new album brings more of the same.
