White Denim unveiled a slew of new tour dates, 15 to be exact. Most of them are on the East Coast and Midwest, with dates in major cities like Dallas, St. Louis, DC, NYC, Philly, and Boston. The psych-infused garage-rockers also visit Toronto on 4/16, after playing in Hoboken two days earlier.
The Austin-based group are currently touring the West Coast with Wilco. White Denim released their fourth full-length, D, last year to critical acclaim, along with a solid EP, Takes Place in Your Work Space, in the fall. They’ve certainly come a long way since 2008, when I gushed over the excellent and underrated “Sitting“. It’s hardly surprising that, four years later, they’re touring with the Grammy-nominated Wilco.
